Online Ordering

LaptopXP.com allows our customers to purchase products online. In order to process these orders, we must collect your full name, billing address, shipping address, telephone numbers, email address, and credit card information including the type of card, the card number, the expiration date, and the card holder's name. This information is collected and transmitted using secure technology. It is stored by us on our secure servers to allow us to perform essential functions including processing credit card reconciliations, providing customer service, and handling audits and warranty claims.

As a convenience to our online purchasers, we offer the option of storing your personal information (but not credit card information) in a customer account. This makes shopping easier for our repeat customers, as they will not have to reenter their information every time they make a purchase. Users who choose this option will enter their email address and select a password, which will be the only way this information can be accessed. They will be able to change this information at any time.

LaptopXP.com respects your right to privacy. Protecting this right is something we take very seriously. As a result, we do not share your information with any third party.

Here is a quick overview of how our system works.

Shopping Cart

The Shopping Cart is similar to the shopping cart you use at the supermarket. You add items to the cart when you click the "Add to Cart" button from anywhere in the site. The items you place in your cart will stay in your cart until you remove them or pay for them at Checkout.

Checkout

The is the information gathering process. Here you are prompted to input your shipping address, shipping method, billing address and credit card information to pay for your order. All this happens in a secure channel on our web site and is protected by encryption.

Confirm Your Order

The final step is to review your order for accuracy. If all checks out, click the "Confirm Order" button. You will receive an order number that you can use to track your order later.

Order Tracking

When your order has shipped our automated system will send tracking information directly to you via the email address you provided with your order. In the message, we provide a link to UPS and FedEx tracking services so that you may follow the delivery of your order from our warehouse to your doorstep.


Shipping Information

Shipping

LaptopXP.com ships your order according to the delivery method you select in your shopping cart. If you opt to use your own shipping account for your purchase, you will be prompted to enter that information during checkout on our secure order processing system.


If you place an order for an item marked "In Stock" before 3:00 p.m. (EST), that item will be sent via your chosen shipping option that same day. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. and before the end of business that day, will be given every effort to expedite shipping that same day. But, we cannot guarantee same-day shipping for orders placed after 3:00 p.m. (EST).


We do not ship Items on weekends or holidays.

Changes in Pricing and Promotions

All items offered on LaptopXP.com are sold at the most current prices available. Due to real time inventories and daily changes of costs and programs offered by manufacturers, prices and promotions will and do change frequently. LaptopXP.com is unable to provide any price protection; therefore we will not refund any price difference on your current or previous orders, and we cannot honor a promotion on a purchase made before the promotion start date. (Nor, will we bill you for any difference when a product price increases.) We sincerely appreciate your business and feel confident that our expertise, pricing and availability will exceed your expectations.


Law and Venue

The laws of the state of New Jersey shall govern LaptopXP.com sales invoices. Venue for any legal action relating to such sales invoices shall be Middlesex County NJ.

Enforcement

Failure by LaptopXP.com to enforce any Purchase Policies does not constitute a waiver of any portion of our Purchase Policies.

Limitation of Liability

LaptopXP.com shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential, incidental, special or exemplary damages arising out of or in any connection with this agreement or the products, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or any claim based on indemnity or contribution, or the failure of any limited or exclusive remedy to achieve its essential purpose or otherwise. Purchaser's exclusive remedy, as against LaptopXP.com, shall be the repair or replacement of defective parts.

If LaptopXP.com lists a product on its web site at a price in error, or that is no longer available for any reason, LaptopXP.com reserves the right to cancel the sale without incurring any liability.

The Purchase Policy published on our website is always the most recent Purchase Policy and shall supersede all previous policies published either in print or online.


Reseller Terms & Conditions

The following details our standard terms and conditions of sales to resellers.
I. Payment Terms

All prices are in U.S. funds. LaptopXP.com standard payment terms are American Express, MasterCard, Visa or wire transfer.

II. Taxes

All prices are exclusive of any present or future sales, revenue, or excise tax, import duty (including brokerage fees), or any other applicable tax. All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the Buyer. A valid reseller certificate must be submitted prior to shipment.

III. Delivery

All sales are made F.O.B. point of shipment. Unless specific instructions from Buyer specify shipping instructions, LaptopXP.com.com will ship by the method it deems most advantageous. All shipments will normally be made by common carrier (UPS or Fedex). Delivery dates are approximate and subject to delay due to events beyond the reasonable control of LaptopXP.com.

IV. Special Orders

All sales are final on special order items.

V. Defective Merchandise

We offer a 30-day swap out period for defective merchandise. Contact LaptopXP.com immediately upon discovering merchandise defect to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization -see guidelines for RMA ). When calling, please have the following information available:

* Company Name
* Invoice or order number
* Date of shipment
* Model number of the product
* Specific product serial number
* Overview of the problem

VI. Cancellations, Returns (Non-Defective) and Upgrades

Orders may be cancelled no later than one business day prior to shipment. No returns for credit/refund will be accepted. Upon approval by LaptopXP.com, merchandise may be returned within 7 days after purchase for upgrade to merchandise of equal or greater value. In the event that LaptopXP.com authorizes return of merchandise, the merchandise must be returned in resell able condition; including, but not limited to: original packaging and packing materials, all cords, cables, accessories, cartons and documentation, registration and warranty materials, and "like new" condition of the merchandise and packaging materials. LaptopXP.com has the sole discretion to specify these and other conditions for the return of merchandise. Prior to returning any merchandise, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained from LaptopXP.com. RMA's are valid for a period of 5 business days. Do not write the RMA number on the box. This makes it non-resell able and you will be charged for replacing the box. Display the RMA number on the shipping label. Merchandise returned without an RMA on the shipping label will be refused. Merchandise is to be returned freight prepaid.

Changes to Our Policy
We reserve the right to make changes to our privacy policy at any time and without prior notice. If any significant changes are made, our customers will be notified. To continue using our site after such changes are made signifies your consent to these changes.
